Call for applications – Chair-persons ZAGIMUN 2009

After two very successful conferences, the preparations for ZAGIMUN 2009 are now under way. Vital part of the conference is the selection of chairpersons for the various simulated bodies. ZAGIMUN 2009 will simulate the following committees:

• Security Council
• Human Rights Council
• ECOSOC (subcommittee TBC)
• European Council

Currently, we are looking for devoted, enthusiastic and brilliant individuals who do not shy away from the challenge of chairing one of the abovementioned committees. Though experience as a chairperson is not required, some experience with Model UNs would be an asset.

Anyone who is interest in the position of chair at the ZAGIMUN 2009 conference can submit an application to the ZAGIMUN Secretary Generals.

Your application needs to include:

• Letter of Motivation, including choice of committee and past experience
• CV

Please note that you are required to be fulltime available for the ZAGIMUN conference between 14 and 24 October 2009. The working language of ZAGIMUN 2009 is English. Applications can be sent to sg@zagimun.org.

Deadline for applications is Thursday 9 April 2009, midnight, CET.
